STEEDA SVT Suspension ???

I have 2003 ZX3 that is Bone Stock.

Has anyone used Steeda SVT "style" suspension package. I am considering it more for the price than for upgrade. I just wanted a little less roll and a little tighter suspension.

Here is a link to their site.

Shocks are currently shot and sound like there is a mouse in the suspension when i go over speed bumps.

I dont want it to be ricer bouncy. This is a everyday driver ZX3. I am making slight performance mods to it currently.

That is the SVT suspension. Not sure why the put "style" in there. Plenty of people on here have it and love it, including me.

The SVT suspension is hard to beat for street use.

I have a set of my stock SVT sway bars for sale if your interested, front will both right up with new bushings, rear will just need the small mounting kit, which I believe Steeda sells as well. $150 shipped for both front and rear

Like others have said, it's a great kit. Let me know if I can help you with that.

Best bang for the buck suspension kit there is. Check Tousley Ford, CFM, or Capaldi Racing for even better prices. Great handling improvement over a stock Focus suspension with minimal impacts to ride (it will be a "little" firmer but there's no way around that).

I don't know if Steeda has it, but Tousely's got the kit assembled for $300 - you just don't get the rear sway, which you honestly don't need for street use.

I have the SVT suspension on my ZX3, and I love it. Car's stock otherwise.

That's my next project after new tires. I don't wanna look slammed but a small drop and taller tires are what I'm going for. I got a hellava wheel gap right now.

It takes a hell of a big tire to usually fill a wheel gap. For example, a one inch bigger diameter tire will only reduce the gap by 1/2 inch and will raise ground clearance by a 1/2 inch as well. Drops are best accomplished by shorter springs (shorter springs are usually stiffer so proper shock and struts are also needed). Taller tires also can cause clearance issues, reduce performance (increase rotating mass and unsprug weight) and throw off odos and speedometers.
