Rear Shock; K-sport

So Iím doing my research on installing my k-sport Coilovers before I actually do the install and I notice the rear shock top mount is completely different from every set up Iíve seen, my first reaction was they sent me the wrong set for the rear but looking into it more it seems all I have to do is remove the top bracket. My question is how do I remove it without damaging my brand new Coilovers.
Pictures of the shock:

And I think this is the bolt to remove it, I want to be certain before I dismantle anything so it wonít be damaged:

All help is appreciated thanks!

Did you just take off that bolt and it worked?

yes, use an allen wrench/torx to keep the shaft from spinning and then wrench off that bolt. (I believe K-Sport mentioned in another thread that an impact would wizz that bolt off no problem, its not on there tight.)

you will not use the black part stamped D44 in the above picture. Our rear shocks dont mount the same as some other cars, its just easier/cheaper for K-sport to ship them that way
