I'm looking into dropping my Focus, and have seen FRPP mentioned being used with 2nd gen. Foci.
My questions are these: Are we talking about the "2000-2005" FRPP suspension kits? If so, how easily will 1st gen. FRPP suspension fit onto a 2nd gen.?
sure all my cambers are slightly negative but visually you cannot tell and Sears has a warranty on my tires so if it was going to be an issue im sure they would have said something. They tend to get bitchy when they will have to pay for something lol
True story. I thought I had a set of spring compressors but I still cant find them. Ran to Harbor Freight and picked some up for $12 I think it was. Those and an impact will get the job done real quick []
does everyone that's running the FRPP just have the basic ZX3B kit or is there anyone running the ZXM1 dynamic kit?
I'm planning on getting one of these in the next couple months and want to know if it's worth the extra money for the dynamic.
also how the basic kit is holding up0 for everyone long term? I put a LOT of miles on my car (ave 5k a month) and don't want something that will have to be replaced often.
Price on both kits are great, but I'm still entertaining the idea of saving for the H&R coilovers
[ffrocks] Hey guys, I'm really sold on this kit from the sound of it. I like the look and performance of a lowered car, but hate the headaches that can arise from rubbing, alignment issues, etc.
Just curious on the spring rate difference to stock. Also wondering how this kit compares to the ST suspension (I have a family member with an ST)
Does this ship with detailed instructions? I know I have a buddy or 2 that would help, just want to know if I need to find specifics online.
I'll order from Tousley if my local dealer cannot get it in or not as discounted
So how is clearance? Im about sold on this, problem is I installed a larger tire, 205/6015 that fills out nice but I only got about 2 inches maybe a tad more wheel gap in the front
I have zero rubbing issues with mine. Running 215/45/17 tire. I did get my car aligned and was shocked more that how far the toe was off. Camber was pretty much in spec. It does not really ride all that bad either. If you want a nice ride go buy a luxury car.
Back tracking, just spoke to steve, he said those numbers were probably right. Tousley Ford is a big Ford Racing seller so they get the best prices around. Awesome guy.
Heads up everyone, these parts are discontinued.....
I bought one of two, so he's got one left. If you were thinking about it, better get on it...

Went back and found it for everyone.......Time stamp 04-18-2012, 11:54 AM
That was per Steve at Tousley when I ordered my goodies
That was the springs that were discontinued. If you want the Ford Racing springs check the classifieds. If you can't find em and need moar low get a good quality aftermarket spring and buy the shocks. It will work.
Annnd the last set of spring sets is mine. He said the dampeners will remain available. They must have a cross reference with another model out there or something.
So anyone that ordered from Tousley, how long did it take to get a tracking number and for the package to actually get to ya? Im still waiting on a email...
I ordered my FRPP kit from Tousley and got my stuff within a week
