09 SES rear disc brake conversion

Is this possible? If so, is there a kit out there for doing this, or will it need to be pieced together? Info, suggestions or comments are appreciated.

You can use the SVTF rear disc kit but with 2 problems:
1) the brake lines will no longer fit (too short) so get some SS ones (F2 makes custom ones and they will fit)
2) the E-brake will be a tight fit i.e. will be stretched almost to the max, but will attach so when you pull on it, it will only move the handle 1/2-1" or so.

Hope this helps.

Brake line lengths are ok enough to fit but would be better if longer.
I encountered a problem where the new brake lines are not compatible with my 09. The car has a different flare tip on the steel line than the new brake hose accepts.
I ended up having new hoses made and also added an inch a bit more to it and it fits now. Gotta bleed the brakes this weekend.

I bought mine at north coast performance ^ link posted above
$500 shipped

Comes with everything you need. Just gotta drill and tap the spindles for the larger holes or get a washer style spacer.
PSUrivie was able to drill and tap mine for me +

what about doing the conversion to an 2011? isnt there a computerized braking system (AdvanceTrac system and ABS)? would this upgrade cause problems with those systems?

yeah, use the ABS sensors when you swap. advancetrac is a pitch/yaw system with abs and just goes off wheel speed sensors and other sensors in the car.
