Any STs here with SVT Springs? Pics?

Hi all, I am looking at lowering/stiffening up the ST's springs. The ST already has the souped-up struts/shocks, as we know. The springs are a bit softer than the SVT ones though, so I am looking at either doing the FRPP springs, or the SVT ones. I already ahve the sway bars, and upper front/rear strut bars.

I would like to decrease the body roll a bit, and lower it a bit. I have seen that the FRPP will lower me by 1.5 or so (mike said it will be a bit less than that b/c the ST sits lower anyways). I do not think I want to put that much strain on the struts, and I do not want to lower it that much. So, I hear the SVT springs will be stiffer, and only lower me about .75 inch.

I would love to know if anyone here has done this to the ST themselves? I would really like to see some pics, and know if it improved your body roll.

As usual, rep will be given for pics!

The SVT springs seem like a logical idea to me, FWIW.

yeah, but the ST already has great dampers (the svts) made by tokico. your drop looks good...how does it handle with the frpp springs? im told that the svt springs are stiffer.

They do have great dampers but are made for those specific springs. i suppose you could go for the SVT springs but would put more stress on the dampers as you know. I could say with my setup handling definitely improved but the ST setup was good enough were the average person probably wouldnt even notice a difference anyway. I didnt really notice a worsened ride. In fact they ride extremely smooth. The appearence was the main reason for my drop, give a much more aggressive stance

see, i tink that the higher, the more aggressive...unless you can push the wheels out a bit on their offset as you lower it. tho urs looks pretty good, i want it a bit higher. but the svts are supposedly better for body sway. i wouldnt be adding stress with the svts b/c the ST already has the svt dampers...and even so, a drop of only .75 would be less stress than a 1.5 right?

yah you would be adding less stress but i dont believe that the ST and SVT have the same damper. They are different part numbers i believe which means they could have diff specs even if the look identical. You could try it and if your dampers go you will have to buy new ones anyway but the wrong damper spring combo wont help performance any
