Two part question: Installed new suspension, rear knocking sound came back
Before I swapped the suspension the rear was always knocking around. I originally thought it was the rear sway bar bushings being seized.
I installed the Saleen/prokit and for about a week it was silent but then it started again yesterday. Here's what I'm thinking:
-The rear bushings for the new sway bar need new lube (unlikely)
-I'm still using the stock upper control arms (blade looking things) and stock trailing arms (dogbone looking part). They both have the original rubber bushings that are most likely completely seized.
Second, I don't mind replacing those parts although I'm not sure which ones use the pressed in bushings. I don't have access to that equipment so I don't really mind replacing the parts completely. Are the bushings used for upper control arm and trailing arm pressed in??
