Question About lowering kits and negative camber.

Hi,

1st of all Im from Brazil so forgive my poor english. Recently, I bought a new Ford Focus Ghia 2009 and i want a good lowering kit. The test with Volvo C30 Pro Kit from Eibach gets rear too low and the camber too much negative.

Here are the questions:

1. Do you guys know a good kit to use with my model? I want kits that lower aprox 1.5 in.

2. If i keep this Volvo Kit, what can i do with negative camber? Use rear camber kits (arms/bolts)? They fit on my car model?

If you guys want to see the car, here is the link to my Picasa album: http://picasaweb.google.com/ccastilhos/NovoFocus# The last pics is the car with Volvo Kit (pay attention for the negative camber).

I hope someone can help me with this issue.

btw: I also have 17" rims but i only will install when i fix the suspension issues (lowering kit/negative camber).

First off Welcome to the site!

Second nice car.

Third, I am not to sure about the setup under there. If it is the same as as the US focus, you can get rear caber bolts form CFM and front camber plates. I put the rear camber bolts in and did a 2" drop. they corrected the negative camber. As far as a kit that does 1.5" there is the FRPP kit, but again I am not sure about the model you have.

norcalfocus01,

The front camber is ok. The rear camber is the problem.

Are you sure the front camber is going to be okay? Thats what thought too, and low and behold I now need front camber plates.
