Spring Compressor Help

My sportline kit came in today and I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy a spring compressor or rent one from autozone or someplace similar. If i were to buy one I was thinking something like this.

Thanks a lot.

I bought my own for about $15 bux. I've used them quite a few times. It does save the hassle if your caught in the middle of something. Not only for install, but there are other times you might have to remove the springs. I need mine again to change the bearings in the strut mount.

definitely worth at least renting one from autozone ... its free. You pay the money and when you return it, they give you your deposit back

I figure for $40 bucks then at least I own it. Plus my buddy is gonna be doing a lot of spring work for his Miata in the near future, so it'll get used again then. Thanks a lot guys. Just seeing if you all thought it was a quality piece.

Hold up. lol. I didn't open the link to the one you want. I wouldn't get that one. Looks a bit weak in design and the last thing you want is it breaking on you. I would get one like this.

^^^I concur.
The one you've shown also has safety pins to keep the compressor from slipping off the spring.
Which, can (and will) happen with the cheaper spring compressors.
I've seen em bend under the pressure as you're tightening them up...pretty scary.

Alright good. That helps a lot. I'll find something like that if not that very one.
