New Suspension...

My car has 65k on the DOT and when I get it back from the shop, I will be starting to look around for a new suspension. My question is, what all is needed to swap out the suspension if I were to do it myself?

Also, where should I start looking for a suspension? I am considering getting it lowered.

Any help would be AWESOME!

Use spring compressures for the rear! Unless you want to spend up wards of 200 for two new RLCA and bolts.. That is, if your bolts are froze to the bushing. Just get a full kit struts/shocks/springs and even sway-bars if you wan't. As far as tools I can't remember. Just have a good variety of sockets and a breaker bar.

you can get spring compressors at any hardware shop for about 30 bucks. yes, you will need to get it aligned. i never did suspension b4, and i did my entire setup in an afternoon. but make sure you do get an alignment. get a full coilover setup!!

Uhm it depends how mechanically inclined you are. It's really nothing more than take bolts off and on. The dangerous this though are those springs, they can kill you. If you've never seen someone take off suspension or done one yourself I'd say have someone do it for you, watch and learn. Yes you should get an alignment.

when you compress the springs, you compress them a few inches. and at 200 lb/in, thats 600 lbs of tension waiting to shoot off. just be carefull the springs don't come out. and you will be just fine!!!
