Wagon Spring / Strut Question

I've done a few searches but have seen a lot of conflicting information regarding the wagons. I just bought an 01' SE wagong with a ton of miles & the suspension feels super-soft and/or worn. I want to throw the SVT stuff on it to hopefully stiffen it up a bit.

From what I've read, the front struts/springs are interchangeable between similar-year foci. But the rear struts are different completely & the springs interchange, but the factorys are stiffer than other models. Is this information accurate?

So in other words, I could throw SVT front struts & springs on and JUST the svt rear springs on my wagon and they will fit?

Anyone know if the swaybars interchange between hatch/sedan models onto the wagons or are those different also?

Welcome to FF!

Sadly, the rear SVT setup will NOT fit on the wagon.

Get used to looking for "wagon only" when searching out suspension parts. I bought H&R springs and stiff dampers for my 03 wagon and love the setup. Seeing as your focus sounds like it needs new dampers anyway, you might as well put on lowering springs while you're having the work done.

Swaybars are completely interchangeable between models (and years, I believe) Check the Wheels, brakes, tires, suspension forum for confirmation, or someone else may chime in)

have fun!
my wagon *thinks* it's faster than your wagon ...
