I am not that familiar with Auto X. Is there any dirt road events, or do i need to take my skills to Europe? None the less, this autox sounds interesting.......

I dream of a day when our naturally aspirated SVTF's are no longer compared to the likes of the forced induction vehicles of similar platform, two or four door...three or five door...........

IT JUST ISN'T RIGHT ON ANY LEVEL.

^^^It's called Rallcross, and there are many SCCA regions that offer events. It's safe, cheap, and not terribly rough on the car.

really if u are both going to the track for the first time well it could be pretty close. IMO it all depends on how good u drive ur cars and how aware u are of what u can and can't do with them.

Good Luck to ya!!!

Air pressure in the tires are a big help. fool around with different PSI to find how much better she can perform. For me and some other guys at the track, you'd put more air in the front tires, and less in the back... it helped a TON!

Are you allowed to have struts/dampers along with springs and a rear sway bar and stay in the stock class?

Different struts/dampers and a front sway bar, yes. Different springs and rear sway bar, no. That puts you into STS if you have no other modications.

In all honesty though, when you are stating out they will put you in the most appropriate class for your experience level. Once you get some experience, usually about 4-5 events, they will start putting you in your technical class.
