I was hoping for a good race with a EVO

Well yesterday i had a emergency call from work to go to a weight station that the cops computer went down (Don't ask) so anyway on my way back home i was cruising on I85 about 70 to 75 miles. out of no where this Yellow evo pass me very slowly, so im guessing he's checking out my gauge and see if i want to race or he just thought that i had those guage for looks, Well he step on the car im guessing F/T So i was on 5th gear and i had to down shitf @ this point he is like 1 car ahead as soon i down shifted to 4th gear and step on it with 10PSI i caught him and pass him like he was just standing still i shifted to 5 th gear like 1-1/2 car or 2car ahead of him.. the next thing i know im going 120+ miles ...

I don't know if he just quick racing as soon as i caught up with him and pass him.. or he was just surprise that my car a plain ZX3 just beat him....

So i can't say i really race him. but thought you might all want to hear the story.
after i let go and slow down to 70 miles ... guess what Blue light on the horizons... for my luck the cop already stop someone and it was already out of the car... I think i was lucky this time.. next time I'll be in jail posting forum from there.. hahahaha!!!

From a roll, an rsx type s can beat a stock evo. Off the line forget it. I think you overestimate AWD 4 cylinders from a roll. Go searching for a 3000gt vr4. Don't look for that elusive skyline GTR though, they have those differentials where they can change from RWD > AWD > FWD in seconds!

That's fine call BS if you want, i don't care all i know he hit it and i hit it after him and i just past him,, now if he let go as soon as he saw me coming behind to quick that's another story ,, i wish i had the video camera mounted inside..

that's why i call it it could it been a good race, because i don't know if he actually race or got scare because he didn't left me behind like probably he was thinking..

now i still think that evo was stock.. don't think he was boosting more than factory.. I don't know how much is factory boost...

now i drive with the camera inside the car all the time, so i could have proof next time.

I have race and RSX, and beat it with no problem.. i don't think it was the Type-S. But i know it had cat-back.

Yea, 271 for evo...except MR edition=276

BTW, I'm not trying to insult you. i could be totally wrong. i've never driven in a turbo Focus. I'm just saying eve with the power you say you have, theoretically you stiil couldn't hang with an evo. But AWD isn't famous for high speed racing, so it's still possible on a top end race.
