HOW ARE YOU ALL RUnning These Times!!!!!

I am just so frustrated. I am struggling to get below a 16.2 and i have intake, ORP Triax shifter, and thats about it on performance, stuff, but How is everyone running these 15s. And LOW 15s STOCK. Is it cuz im at 5000 feet above sea level or WHAT. lol, I weigh 250 so that is somewhat part of it but i still should be in the 15s I DO NOT have Traction control, its disabled, and my Parada Spec 2s hook up pretty well, and i can drive.... I guess. What do you all think. the DSI also is working now too.

That 5k altitude is killing you. The thinner air makes less power, I remember how bad it was back in Colorado - zero power with my 5.0 and my 2.3 Ranger was a joke up there.

Being 250 lbs does hurt you, in comparison to someone 150. Each additional 100 lbs will be roughly equivalent to .2 seconds in the 1/4 mile (also each 100 lbs is about 5.5 hp).

When I drove up to New Mexico a few years ago Elk hunting, my Tahoe had NO power what-so-ever up there and it usually runs pretty strong for a big truck but the high altitude made it feel like it had a 4 banger in it, that's probably your problem. You could always get a bottle of Oxygen and run a tube to the intake and open up the valve just before you make the run .... just kidding, don't do that LOL

Altitude isn't helping you but what kind on intake do you have? Also, the ORP might be helping your low end TQ or it may not be ... you should dyno to see where its kicking in ... I would also reccommend having your car tuned to free up some low end torque .... the SVT is a great mid range car but its a dog in stock form off the line, address that and you'll run better 1/4's.
