How much - camber do i need?
So, i am an auto-xer and im build a car that will be (almost) dedicated entirely to auto-x.
I can get over -2º camber just by lowering and im looking to get camber plates and bolts (and even swing arms or subframes).
How much camber do u need for auto-x with a focus? How much is too much? I am not worried about tire wear on the street.
My next question is what are peoples opinions/reccomendations on camber altering suspesnion componants?
btw im building an FSP car based around the hoosier 275's
I'm running -2 in the front & -1 1/2 in the rear and judging by tire wear I could easilly run betyween -3 to -4 up front for a larger contact patch BUT my tires are smaller than yours.
[thumb] You should give Lorin muller a PM at folcaljet , he runs 275's i think, and he's in FSP. he goes by omnifocus he finished 3rd. in class at the solo2 nationals this year!!!
ya, his car is the one that im emulating.
With those big fat tires, camber isn't as much of an issue... we're running about 2.2-2.5 degrees per side, and it doesn't seem to need any more, judging by the tire wear.
