'14 Focus SE Sedan Roof Puddles Water

On my Focus, the roof seems to want to puddle water -_-. Maybe I am doing something, but the last two times I have waxed (the time before last I managed to get a picture) I did the roof with Ultimate Wax from Meguires, waited about 15 min., swipe test, then took it off. TODAY, a month later or so, I did the same thing but with this AutoSpa buffer I got from Walmart(my first one!), figured I would try it and boom same thing. No where else on the car does it (actually, the trunk lid does it too I believe), the beads/puddles are really high and don't seem to want to run off. I have seen them close to over an inch or two! Am I doing something wrong, or is it the shape of the roof, or what!? You can see them in the image of what I am talking about near the center and in the back closest to the image.

Thanks

Looks normal to me.

Wax does cause it to bead up...

Puddle, or bead water? The pic looks normal to me too. Maybe we're not understanding what you're asking.

I just thought perhaps the beads were too big lol. I figured they would all slide down, but I guess not since the roof is nearly flat. My last vehicle(which was my first) was a '97 Dodge Ram 1500, so I couldn't really see the roof so I never noticed it before.

That's normal for a flat area with a coat of wax. As time goes on the beads will get bigger.

I still MirrorGlaze my 2013 SE and the water beads are about the same size. Protection is protection. Just make sure your wax has UV inhibitors added to it. Those uvi will keep the paint going. Remember to wax it twice a yr., maybe a third time for giggles.
