I've worked in every department except lamination. But I know how the process works.

Even if ford sprays on some type of chemical after the glass leaves us. Wiping it off isn't going to cause the inside of the car to get hot. It solar glass, not a spray on chemical. I'd like to know how much you paid for that stupid "pulling if the leg" repair bill.

We make most ford glass from start to ready to be installed in house. Focus is one of them. It leaved us with all the weather stripping, rear view mirror mount everything. We clean it and direct ship it. We clean it with alcohol and a towel. That wad my first job there. I'm now a operator in the cut and grind dept.

One of the best advices ive ever got for the car. Just did it, 1mf cloth soaked in pure alcohol and 1 clean and dry mf cloth. Scrub the inner windshield with the alcohol one and then buff it with the dry one. Perfect and clean windshield in and out.

Use your fist or the outer palm for both the mf's to reach every corner.

Panozit, the true test---have you examined your work, with low angle morning or evening sunlight coming thru the windshield. You know what I'm talking about? That morning drive in an easterly direction where the sun is shining in your eyes.

That sunlight will be definitive proof of the success of your work.

As my windshield is tinted, as is all my glass, I'm not gonna be able to test the alcohol. But like others on here, cleaning glass has been for me the toughest nut to crack.
