Question Plasti Dip Questions

Hello, fellow focusfanatics! I have a couple questions on plasti dipping my wheels on my 2013 se.

First off, how well does the plasti dip stick to the wheels? Second, are there any good techniques to accurately dip around the logos in the center? Finally, where can I obtain plasti dip and how much is it going to cost me?

Thanks!

Well Plasti Dip is pretty versatile and on wheels it could go both ways. I Plasti Dipped my wheels and I've had a tough time removing it after six months of it being on.

The can costs $5 a pop and they sell them at Home Depot.

No special technique to apply just apply enough coats to each wheel.

The Logos are center caps, if you take the wheels off you can pop them out from behind.

Apply 4 to 5 coats, you will need about one can per a wheel.

Over a long period of time no, I've had it for 6 months and now I'm having a tough time removing it.

But it is better than painting them with actual spray paint.

I had it for two months, and it was alright. Just use proper cleaners (simple green is the best). check out: http://www.youtube.com/dipyourcar

Fonzie shows how to do it painlessly and effortlessly. His site also has some more interesting colors than matte black.

Dip will remain for a while, but painting them will be easier to clean/keeping them looking good. What color are you looking at?
