ok.. so.. heres the deal..

i got two tickets(at the same time) about a month ago.. my court date is approaching, and i need some info

i live in illinois, so we have the supervision system, not points..

illinois drivers are allowed to have two tickets within a year, but the third ticket your liscense is suspended

my question

i had a ticket, one year ago, september 25th...

the tickets i got this year, were given on august 27th of this year

so, one ticket, sept 25th, 2005

two tickets, august 25th



now.. i had supervision on the ticket from 2005... with a 90 day supervision period..

does this mean that i am safe from getting my liscense suspended? or should i be worried.. cauz right now... im worried.....

please, only post if you have useful information... i just need facts, not opinions, such as
"dont get tickets"

also.. the two tickets o got this year were not for speeding, but were moving violations

i really dont see your licenses being suspended for two moving violations, speeding maybe but i dont know.

well.. moving violations or not... in illinois it counts as a ticket... but what im wondering is if they will count the ticket form 2005 as one of those, therefore making the two new tickets, three in one year...

i sure hope it doesnt get suspended... it almost did already[eek]

If you're under 21 I'm pretty sure its 2 speeding convictions within x time period i believe it was 2 convictions in 2 years but i could be wrong

edit- I think its 2 in 2 years if youre under 18 and 3 in 1 year if youre under 21 and it is moving violations not just speeding tickets
