Ford unveiled this at the Paris Auto Show today. Isn't it hard to believe that Ford Europe and Ford North America are the same company?

I didnt know Nissan was having Ford build the next Murano.

The interior looks like a Nike running shoe; and I know its just to get attention, but the wheels and ride height make it look, in my mind, completely ridiculous.

There was a wierd, bubbly Suzuki SUV not too long ago that looked something like that at one point, I think. I've liked a lot of Ford concepts lately, but this one I dont...

Well, it's better looking than the Edge to me.

The placement of the side mirrors is goofy. I don't see how the driver can even see the one on the passenger's side.

I get the feeling that will never see production, at least not the way it is. That thing screams "car designer's wet dream."

europe makes some crazy ass cars. This one looks alright...I am not a huge fan of the small FX style windows, though. I would definitely say that futuristic movies like "demolition man" have influenced what cars are beginning to look like. I thought the mid 1990's taurus looked like a spaceshuttle when it came out!

Follow the link posted above:

Ford says that while the isosis X is purely a show-car and not a direct preview of a production model, the stunning concept will form the basis for a future model to hit the market in about a year and a half

boo... i hate SUVs, i think they're useless to 80% of the customers that own them. I don't know why the edge gets so much damn hype, its really nothing special

.....Well at least the designers are in the right decade, and not retro like the "new ford fairlane" which looks like a crappy copy of the Honda or Toyota box with wheels.

The whole thing inside and out looks like a Nike shoe to me.

Of course if this vehicle ever saw production it would be very unlikely the production vehicle would be anywhere near this outrageous-looking.
