I am thinking bout re-doing my exhaust with offroad pipe and no cat setup. I know it will be loud as hell, but how will my car do when it comes down to emissions testing with the O2 cheater in place. I live in Oregon and there emission laws are almost as strict as California. Please help

I don't think it'll work. From what I understand, the 02 cheater only fools your car's computer into thinking there's still a cat inline with your exhaust. Since smog shacks hook up sensors to your tailpipe to measure emissions, they won't be fooled and you'll fail.
I live in Cali and there are so many emissions laws out here, it's almost impossible to mod my car without breaking *some* law or another.

You might get lucky. For the most part MIL eliminators pretend that your CAT or whatever is there and thus makes the computer think its there. So if and WHEN testing checks to see via computer if everything works correctly you might pass there. But if Oregon is like California, the testing guy will obviously SEE that you dont have a CAT! My suggestion if you dare is get CAT SHIELDING and weld it to the off-road pipe and make it look like a cat is there. Its just at thought.

Just put your damn cat on there and get it inspected and emission for the year than switch it afterwords- after all you will have a year! Easy for me to say I work in a mech. shop!
