Dont you have insurance? This should be covered if you do.
*Okay you live in Alabama, I know you have insurance its the law here. Even if its only liability, this should be covered. If you got a police report, it should be no problem. Either way I'm sorry it happen to you.*

Yeah...something like Hit and Run if I'm not mistaking.........

Man that sucks!?!?! What are you gonna do? Call your insurance company and see what they can do and keep us posted.

dude, sorry to hear about it.
lets put together a lynch mob.....
03-19-2004, 08:04 PM
Wow...that sucks. Sorry.
Anyway, your insurance should cover it. This assumes that you have full coverage insurance. The only thing it should cost you is your deductible, if you have one.

sorry about it bro.. thats why you park in the back.. lol so no one will be near you!
03-19-2004, 08:30 PM
Knowing it being Winn-Dixie and they were having a sale, it would not have matter much if you were parked in the back. Crazy folks here in Alabama, whoever did it may not have had insurance. Who knows, but not a bad idea to park in the back. Even still out of respect they should have left a note or something. Have you checked to see if the parking lot may have had security camera's?
Crap. So many Hit & Runs going on, time we got some revenge!! And some cameras on our cars. I shall be looking into that. hehehehe. Sorry dude, I know how it feels. Trust me. Sorry and hopefully insurance will take care of it.

get estimates before you turn it in to insurance. Most of the time hit and runs will raise your rates. Plus the deductable. You may be able to get a loan to fix it instead of raising your insurance rates. Just an idea

That really sucks! Hope you get your car fixed for free!

Good idea. Hell, they ended up catching that one mother beating her kid in the parking lot a few years back... as long as no mammoth SUV's were blocking the camera's view, you should have something.

man theres been alot of hit and runs in the past few weeks.
03-20-2004, 02:32 AM
sorry to hear about that.

like no one saw it happen and the cameras didnt get it.. so the insurance company wont do anything about it, because i guess they think i did it to get my car repaired because someone keyed my whole passenger side not to long ago... they said theres nothing they can do.... im so pissed... some people are so sorry in life... but thanks for yalls help

first off, the cops were full of S, they are sposed to make out a report and give it you after awhile so you can turn it into your insurance, then you have somthing to go by in getting them to pay
03-20-2004, 04:31 PM
Who is your insurance through? I'm telling you, if you have full coverage, and a police report, this should be covered. No if, and's or but's. COVERED!!!! Besides, if the police came out to the scene, they would or should have wrote up a report. All you should be out of pocket is your deductable.
03-20-2004, 04:57 PM
Even if you have liability your covered for hit and runs. You will have like a 200 deductable on it, and your insurance WILL cover the cost to fix it, minus 200 bucks. Now if you were dumb and declined the hit and run coveraged when you signed up so you could save 5 bucks a month... then yes, your effed.

Dude,sorry to hear that!!![thumbd] boo !!
