I just purchased my 2003 Focus VTS a few days ago, and I am pretty much satisfied with my car. The only things that I feel are really cheap feeling are the arm rest and the sun visors. Anyone have any suggestions of replacement parts and where I can pick them up from? Thanks!

Don't know of any aftermarket sunvisors or arm rest unless you can find another
make/brand of car that would allow you to interchange parts. Me, I believe I would leave it alone, I can't remember the last time I even looked at my visor and my elbow has complained too much about the arm rest.

If the arm rest really bothers you, you could take it out completely.

i have the same problem with the visor. It just seems very cheap. i've been thinking of replacing it also.

I understand that they changed the material of the sunvisor for 2003. The 2000-2002 visors are much better quality, so if you can get them from the wrecking yard from those years you could make the car better. I was thinking of that just this morining. But I don't know if they have my interior color in the earlier years :(

hmmm.. that's a good point.. I may have to check that out.. Maybe even JCWhitney will have them? They could probably even custom make one, like they do most other things..

Are they any better on the SVT?

some came with cloth and some are just cheap platic (the sun visors) mine are plastic....
i have try to find some cloth with no luck

Couldn't you paint them if they are the vinyl?
