I see alot of Foci (and alot of other cars) that have the airbag-equipped factory steering wheel removed in favor of the more stylish Momo, Sparco, or other racing wheel. Isn't this kind of dangerous or even deadly when installed on a daily driver? Is'nt pretty much all modern car's safety system built around the airbag? I have heard that some states forbid that you remove an airbag from a car that came equipped with one from the factory, but just like annoying loud exhaust systems, it doesn't stop people from doing it. If you've ever seen a crash-test video, you will notice how the dummy's head doesn't reshape the steering wheel thanks to the airbag. I'd just like to know your thoughts on this.
