Ive been researching intakes for my SVT Focus and have decided either a full CAI is the way to go...or something that includes a Heat Shield. I came across this after looking at the AEM, FocusSport, Steeda and Typhoon. Anyone ever hooked up this Aircharger? It looks like a short ram with a heat shield. Any thoughts?

I haven't seen too much mention of this product from my searching here, but it looks relatively new, based on the K&N part number.
My brother has one of these on his Dakota RT and I was impressed with the quality, and you can defintely feel the difference in ambient air tempeature between the two sides of the heat shield. I would defintely get this instead of a short-ram system without any type of shield, as I still haven't made a shield for my GSX, and my intake temps (as reported by the ECU to my tuning software) are a bit on the high side.
If I ever get one for my SVT, this is on the top of my list. I don't care for the water-intake issues a CAI like the AEM might experience, and a simple short-ram seems like a waste of money, as you're getting more, warmer air as apposed to less, cooler air. Although intake air temps seem to make a bigger difference in forced induction applications, intercooling can offset that by a bit too.
