If you have any experience as far as the Install/ HP gains/ How you like it

babyface 05-02-2006, 10:36 AM The plug wires may net you a couple of HP, as will the TB. The UDP, I have no idea. The tune will prolly get you from 10-30hp, depending on what you change. Everything together, probably around 20-40hp, but when my sister put all this kinda stuff on her car, she had the boost dialled way up.

topherdopher 05-02-2006, 12:41 PM niiiice. I'm not sure whether I should do the mods lil by lil, so that if something goes wrong, I'll have a better idea of were to start fixing. Rather than putting them all on, and it something goes wrong, I'd be totally lost.
dgualtie 05-02-2006, 12:56 PM that is good logic not to put them all on right away, however putting them all on at once you can feel what gain you got from all of them working together
babyface 05-02-2006, 01:11 PM may I suggest putting the TB, UDP, and plug wires on first. Then, when you put the xCal on, it will take those mods into consideration while its tuning the computer. The STS you should put on as soon as possible, cuz it makes a huge difference.

the plug wires and TB will give you a negligable HP boost, but will still help out in other ways. the udp i dont know about boost, but will help slightly. maybe a couple of points.
as for the retune... dont know on the SVT, but i would highly doubt getting 30 hp out of it. i think you would be really luck to see 10.
but more important then the actual numbers is the results of the butt dyno. and i am sure you will be very pleased with those results.

Yea, those numbers looked a lil bit too good to be true. I'll get everything on and plan to run to Maxwell Dodge soon to run the DYNO!
To be quite honest I'm just wanting to have an overall even more fun ride in the car. It's a blast to drive, with just a few issues... but from what I've heard, the tune should fix quite a few of the problems I was having (pertaining to the ECU). Can't wait to get it all installed and do somemore car shows and Local Cruises!! I LOVE MY SVTF!!!![:D] [headbang]

Central Florida Motors, Short-throw-shifter. **Supposedly** One of the shortest you can get right now for the SVTF

let me reiterate, my sister had her boost dialled way high. As in, engine blowing high. In fact, she did blow her engine. And she had it tuned for race gas, and very high performance. This was her track car.
