Well, after all of my research on this site with which intake to go with I have narrowed it down to two choices.
K&N Typhoon or Focus Sport Coolflo
If anyone with these intakes or knowledge about would like to put their 2 cents in to help me decide on which one to get I would appreciate it.

I just started reading my High-Performance Ford Focus Builder's Handbook and it says that the AEM cold air intake give the most hp and the best top speeds. they didn't test the K&N typhoon or the focus sport coolflo. they tested the Borla drop in 2-3hp, aem cai 7hp 10ft lbs, aem short ram 2-5hp. now those gains are on a stock zx3 not a SVT. but i would say the gains would be around the same. i would say typhoon would give the same gains as the aem short ram. i am still kind of afraid of putting a cai on my car because of the rain an puddles but its all up to you. hope this helps.

AEM CAI is not giving 7hp and 10 torque its more like 5hp 5 torque if you get an ORP then it will be more like 10 and 10
I would go with the Typhoon I've heard good things about it and I think the cool flo doesn't even make much difference Personally I heard the steeda is really good that what I would get

CD03: stay away from that book, you will learn more.
do to the design, i would choose the k&n as it replaces the pipe and also includes a heatsheild...not as great as fs, but functional. only thing i think the FS intake has over this is the itg filter

I was already leaning toward the Typhoon. I think thats what I"ll go with. It looks a helluva lot better than the CoolFlo as well. I would do an AEM CAI but I live in Utah and I would have to take it off every time it snows. Anybody actually have the Typhoon?
