can someone explain whats up with the vtec mustang...i saw a video of a gt mustang on street fire with a vtec sticker in the window...thought that guy was a [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)]...he said vtec stood for very tall engine cooling. but the other day i saw a white stang with a vtec badge....i did a search and its a real thing...whats it all about?

no its not a real thing. vtec is only for hondas. if they had that on their cars, they r stupid and should be beat down on the spot.

lol. no not really. ive never heard of something like that...im sure everyone can tell he is lying cause he said the names on the engine since there engraved it makes the engine a few pounds lighter lol. said something about two s/c and a turbo. all he would have to add in there is some headlight fluid and he is good to go

vtec is an electrical componet only found in hondas but ive seen retards putting the emblem in mustangs i actually posted a mustang pic wit a vtec badge

vtec is a registered tradmark of honda, so it cannot be used by any other company without permission. (though similar technology may be applied, they cannot use the name.)

so if you see a vtec badge on anything thats not a honda (or a subsidiary thereof) its just bullshit.

i had a vtec focus before i really wanted to be included in "the honda" group. so i had to disguise myself to "be" like them. they fell for it.

Yah that vid is funny as Hell. If i remember right, the 05 and newer mustang engines use a form of variable valve timing. No vtec POS though.

On my way home tonight I saw a vtec Saturn and Neon, needless to say I was beat by both of them. Once that 'tec kicked in, all I saw was the unpainted body kits...my zetec just doesn't kick in fast enough... [thumb]
