: Well it's been a long run...
Focuspunk5 04-24-2006, 12:26 PM Its time to trade in the old Focus and Get a new car!
Im either thinking about the new Honda Fit or the Honda Element?
Any suggestions?
Sinan 04-24-2006, 12:44 PM lol...
Element looks like a brick, so skip that or you will end up looking all girly and shit. (nothing wrong with being girly, but being MALE and being girly is wrong and tend to scar people for life) when I think of element, I think of block of plastic, since 50% of car looks like it's been "plasticised"...either way, its crap.
Now Fit looks better, but i'd get a Fit Sport. worth paying 2-3000 dollars more I think. Basic Fit is around 13K, while Fit Sport is 15K.
both are ricey, but if you bought Element, you'd really be ricey.
TrixAreForKidss 04-24-2006, 12:46 PM Wait a year or two...get the "concept" Scion "Fuse"
Linky Linky (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.sawf.org/newsphotos/cars/future/toyota_scion_fuse_2.jpg&imgrefurl=http://news.sawf.org/Lifestyle/11030.aspx&h=299&w=450&sz=59&tbnid=QH2JknwPXk7qvM:&tbnh=82&tbnw=124&hl=en&start=10&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dscion%2Bfuse%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26sa%3DN)
Sinan 04-24-2006, 12:48 PM scion fuse looks like a brick too...just a flatter brick.
nomoreavril 04-24-2006, 01:00 PM i'd say the fit, i'd buy one myself if i was in need of a cheap car.. i'd get the auto witht he paddle shifter or whatever they call it that would just be cool..
loudfocus01 04-24-2006, 01:01 PM I say keep the focus, and mod it.
svtguy21 04-24-2006, 01:12 PM the fit looks like a sister to the scion
Shadowrunner 04-24-2006, 01:16 PM 2006 focus st!
talonk4 04-24-2006, 01:20 PM if it's paid off, keep the focus. use 80% of your former car payments to mod the F out of it, bank the other 20% for when the focus gets really old.
SVT Robzor 04-24-2006, 01:20 PM Definitly the Fit of the two, I like the exterior of the Yaris better but the Fit seems to be a, well, more fit vehicle overall.
I was going to try and spit back some alternatives, but you look like you're shooting for a lower price bracket.
Of course, I can't see how the Element fits in as an alternative to the Fit, its huge and ugly and much more expensive.
cheh83 04-24-2006, 01:44 PM 2006 st
well depends what you are looking for...that is similar comparison as if you asked "yaris or rav4"?
they are ver different.. I personally like the quirky looks of the element.. plut is that HUGE amount of space inside, awd option.. and the price isn't bad
fit is gt od looking, tiny and nimble, but not as big.. and will be close to useless anywehre offroad..
you know what I mean? we need pointers..

dont you wanna do an upgrade when getting a new car?
bwojdyla 04-24-2006, 04:35 PM Yeah, go for a couple year old uplevel car. The luxo cruisers drop like a rock in value. I picked up a 99 Audi A4 with a 2.8V6, quattro, and a manual for 10k then put 2k worth of maintenance parts in it and I'm all set with a pimpy ride. Just saying that you can get an AWEFUL lot of car on the used market for 13-15k. honda fit or audi a4.... hmmmm
PlutoJared22 04-24-2006, 06:12 PM Get the Fit, those are cool, and close to 40 mpg, can't go wrong

LMAO get on that minivan!
I are you skipping middle age and going right to old, or are there kids in the picture?
I cant see any fun coming out of EITHER of those cars.
avengerc4 04-24-2006, 06:53 PM ^^ that car has my wheels on it....damnit
Sinan 04-24-2006, 11:14 PM hehe, sell them...people will say you are a ricer wannabe...[:D]
j/k bud...[:)]
Fordcus Fan 04-24-2006, 11:39 PM If you have rugrats to haul around get the element. If not get the sh err fit.

i see your point i was just looking for roomie, im a big guy so i need all the room i can get.
as far as you guys talking about the ST i havent heard much about it is it fast.
I just found out the FIT is a sohc VTEC engine with only 109 HP stock looks like i might be looking for something else. I think my SPI has more HP [:D]
DrkKnight614 04-25-2006, 02:47 PM ^^^yea it does lol, 1 more hp, but im sure your SPI has more tq, hondas always have really low tq compared to the competition.
SVT Robzor 04-25-2006, 03:26 PM Hmm, have you considered a Mazda3, or maybe a Mazda5? I like the way the 5 looks, got tons of space, MTX with the D23, definitly something different, objectivly I like it better than the Element.
^^unfortunately no MTX in the 5 .... one downside of that car.
