I really don't think a lot of people hate it's appearance as many as you see on the road. And I haven't had one single problem with mine yet , 7200 miles, over six months. All I know now is it's cleaner/less pollution and it's an option only on 2004, or is it? Its an option now on 2004 models. vanace 09-21-2003, 10:42 PM I don't know what they are talking about with the armrest. It doesn't bother me at all when I shift. They have some balls saying the armrest shouldn't be in a manual tanny car. I like my armrest!!! I am tall and like to move the seat all the way back and even lean the back of the seat back a little. When I would try to shift, the armrest was blocking my forearm. I had to crank my wrist around the armrest to shift. I folded the armrest up. With the seat back all the way, the armrest doesn't fold up to exactly 90 degrees. Now when I would shift, my elbow would hit the armrest. Egz 09-22-2003, 07:25 AM Maybe the people that don't like the armrest don't sit correctly.
