Just wanted to see what the average age of my fellow Focus owners is. Is it mostly the younger crowd, older, or both...?[:D]

Statistically, most of the ST croud was of the younger variety, so I would expect somewhat similiar results for everybody else. We shall see I guess. I turn 21 in the end of APril by the way.

Confirms my suspicion about the average age of the forum contributors. Too many useless contributions that offer no valid response to a problemm and result in the need to read through too much bull to find an intelligent answer. It takes time to learn about cars and their problems/fixes, and to learn that driving intelligently is necessary. Just got rear ended by a youth with his license a month, thought he was speed racer, but had no experience with the dynamics of his vehicle under cornering and braking. In any case, I'm 71, and have had some cars you young kids would only dream of having, and I'm still a real enthusiast, and you know what, I've sometimes got a real INTELLIGENT ANSWER (And I can spell and write a coherant sentence) Check the signature and see if I've made sence over time

I just turned 53. And I've had some fine cars in my time, too -- but I didn't have them when I was 19 or 20 either. I personally find these pages not only informative but funny, too -- reminds me when I was in my 20s & 30s. My husband, who just turned 68, was cracking up today looking at some of this stuff. The old retired Navy fart learned some things about the ZX3 and had a good time doing it. And I must say if you have the nerve to be critical of spelling and grammar, then use Spell Check yourself!

I wish I could remember what I had written there but I believe the point that I was trying to make was that no matter how many bad young drivers there are, there are still some of us who can drive circles around some of the older people...I cant stand the generalization that the elderly make about young drivers...Im sorry if I sound a bit boa[:)][:)][:)][:)]l but I know what i can do in a car and I cant stand it when someone says "im not experienced enough". True enough I may only have about 2.5 years of driving under my belt but I wonder who can guess how many tickets I have gotten and especially accidents have I been in?

42 years young. I think most people on these forums looking to mod their Focus are the younger crowd. Then there are the old farts that are going through mid life crisis! I find these forums to be very informative, so when I finally pick up my '07 Liquid grey ZX3 with SAP I'll know the car inside and out and to what extent I want to mod it. Great Poll.

Older-than-dirt baby boomer (59) but with some parts still functional at a 20-something level. Nice to see a few others on this thread coming out in my age range.
