Paid $11.6k for mine with 28,000 miles. After I was offered a red 03 SVT with less than 10k for $13.5 sticker price before negotiations, I could never pay more than that much from a dealer, period. Wish I would've been in the market for a year ago before I bought my car. My friend picked up his 04 SVT new just around $15.9k. These cars are serious bargains with Ford's terrible resale value.

You should've seen how much they were asking for an 04 Saleen Focus at this local Dodge dealership. They wanted $18k with a bottom line price of $17.5k. I test drove it, and I told him there's no way they're going to get that much for the car when I only paid $11.6k for my car, and it's more car. They said they're not letting the car go for any less because they know what it's worth. Oh well, Saleen Foci have always been overpriced.

i just emailed the seller:

"You know, I really hope this is a typo. you should drop the price on this by a few k. These cars sold for less than that NEW. That is WAY too much. You should fire whoever decided on that price, they're no good to you!"

BTW, what's so special about saleen foci, other than they have NOS?

i know a guy that goes to "dealer only" auctions and said he can get an SVT for around $6000, its amazing what he buys cars and trucks for...

Somebody who doesn't really know what they are doing will buy it thinking they got a deal b/c the dealer knocks $1000 off the price. The dealer prolly wouldn't have priced it this high thinking they could get that much for it. I'm sure it also was only driven back and forth by grandma and grandpa to church and the grocery store.

i paid 11k before tax and title on my 05 zx3

I just test drove an '03 svt, 35K, winter package, HIDs,
butt warmers, sunroof, audiophile, pretty loaded
and they wanted 13.9k for that,
but they only offered me 6000 for my '03
I told them drop the price, gimme a grand more on my trade
and to stop showing me numbers that don't involve the upside down amount
oh yeah and I told them to match my banks finance rate,
it was a nice ride, I did not really care for the 6-speed,
it doesn't have the off the line pep of the zx3, nice ride
but I realized having a base focus was far better for me
less things to brake later on
that's why we call them STEALERSHIPS

I paid $11,019 Out the door for my foci. It only had 600 miles on it and it was at carmax.

I bought my 03 brand new at the beginning of 04, and it had a $3,000 rebate on it. It was around $16,500 before my employee discount, and it sure as hell didn't have 38,000 miles on it. Those people are insane. Maybe its the same dealership that had the 06 Si marked up $10,000.

I would imagine it is a typo , I paid 12.5 for mine last year with 24 grand on the odometer and she is loaded (except the cold weather option) if not then some one needs to mail him a current N.A.D.A book hehehe
