Some of you know I had my focus make sweet love to the guard rail on Bear Creek Road, near hywy 17, while on the Santa Cruz Twisty Day...
AND the week prior, my car got vandalized...

Damage Assessed: Carbon fiber hood, and L Quarter Panel
$900 something
Anyways, I been without my focus since that day... 1.29.2006

Damage assessed: broken Radiator support/hood latch, broken bumper cover, headlamps, foglamps, grilles, 2 Motor Mounts.
$4,000 something
So, the car has been at the shop for almost 2 weeks, and I just Now got my focus back!!!
since then, I been driving around my Girlfriends 1993 Ford Escort, with a huge 17-18" steering wheel... (I didn't measure, just guessin)
also has brakes that need to have been bled last year, as well as a stick shift that's 11" above the console (once again, just guessin), manual steering the past 300 something miles driving that car....
so, I start the car, throw the shifter In reverse, and thinking, Damn, that was hella easier than the Escort... I start turning the wheel, and I realize that I have to make a HUGE adaptation to the quick responsiveness of the Focus.
Being reunited today has made me appreciate the focus even more than before... especially when coming from the ford escort.... that's 10 years younger, and like 80 HP...
The shop done an A+ job, and the Carbon fiber hood seems to be better than the day I first got it...
Pic's pending upload... 10 Minutes or less they will go up.
(Also noticed time to change the sig)
