: Jus venting

Nothing can be done now but i'm jus extrememly P.O'ed.
I went to a KMart down the street so i can pick up some car wash supplies becuasee my car was covered in salt and all the good stuff that snow brings along. When I came baack out i looked at my car and my mouth dropped. The hatchback door was completely smashed in, my back windshield was blown out and glass scattered all over my back seats, and to add to the list was the shattered taillights. ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!
I have somebody come up to me and tell me that the suv that was parked behind me went straight into my car while he was gettin out of his spot and jus drove off in a hurry.
My question is.............WHY DO PPL NEED SUVS IN NEW JERSEY?!?!?!? wats the purpose, all of our roads are paved, plowed when it snows, and we are one of the most densley populated states in the US.
Why do ppl think that they need to have some 10 ton monster to dry to work or to cart around their kids?!?!?
An accident that could have been a couple of hundred for a new bumper led to thousands of dollars of damage.
Its ridiculous, ppl around here do not know how to drive these cars. Some of them are soooo huge that its ridiculous that any person is allowed tod rive them
I just can't stand SUV's and this incident jus proves my point. They pose so much danger for the ppl around them yet companies jus keep producing more bigger and bigger SUVS.

SVT_BMXer 02-17-2006, 12:15 PM oh shit man, thats f-ed up. Some people have no respect for others. Did you call the police? File a report? Did the person who saw it have a good description? Theres a good chance it did something to their car aswell so be on the lookout.
BlacKnight 02-17-2006, 12:21 PM Yeah. Cops call around to dealers and body shops when they get a call on a hit and run. If they try to get parts ordered to fix their car, they will get caught. It may not be right away, but it will catch up to them.
Poney 02-17-2006, 12:25 PM check with the store. Kmart here has camera's in the parking lot. Maybe its on film. I smell a lawsuit and some sweet mods with the settlement money ;)
CrazyMatt 02-17-2006, 12:28 PM You know what... that totally sucks.
I've been to New Jersey once in my life, and i can honestly say I will NEVER go back if I have to. The drivers there are insane, not to mention MEAN! I made an honest mistake at a yellow light, had a driver pull a U Turn in the MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION just to follow me until I stopped... then he pulled up along side me, berated me for my drriving abilities, and then SPIT all over my car!!!! My fiance and her mother were in the car at the time, and my fiance had to literally hold me back because I was trying to get out of the car and BEAT this jackass.....
Foci_Fosho 02-17-2006, 12:33 PM I agree with everyone here... File a police Report ASAP, and contact all body shops....
this guy can be caught.
dood, sorry about the hit and run, sucks man...
lol....^^^ def nj drivin. but answerin somebody else, i park my car in the far parkin spaces to prevent !@#$ like this happenin. so the cameras didn't see nethin, the guy only got a description of the car but no license plate number, and thats bout it. There is mods occurin bc of this though. Gettin a wing west 4 piece body kit {avenger} bc i figure, if its gonna be in teh body shop already, might as well get it all done. but now i gotz to really worry bout dumb@$$es in parkin lots
TwighlightBlueZx5 02-17-2006, 12:42 PM where in NJ you located ?
cassa 02-17-2006, 12:49 PM sorry to hear about this domg.
i'm from jersey also and i can not stand suvs!! it seems like no one owns a normal car here anymore! it is absolutely ridiculous. and as you say, most of them don't know how to drive them. the worst ones are the women! (i'm a woman, so i can say this) they will be backing out of a space with their cell phone stuck to their ear and a cup of coffee in their other hand!!! it freaks me out!
jaimz 02-17-2006, 12:58 PM i hate SUV's too!
my biggest fear is an asian woman on a cell phone driving an SUV anywhere near me!
i'd get kamart to check their cameras like poney suggested
{twighlight blue} town right next to newark
FocusedChick3187 02-17-2006, 02:12 PM ha. Welcome to New Jersey. Totally typical.
babyface 02-17-2006, 02:30 PM SUV's don't crash into cars, the people driving them do. 95% of people driving SUV's don't know how to drive an SUV, or anything for that matter, very well. I hope you recover from this, and that your FoFo gets tricked in the process.
TwighlightBlueZx5 02-17-2006, 02:34 PM i believe k-mart is responsible for everything that happens in thier parking lot , thier insurance should cover it , thats why they have t o have the cameras , they dont have the cameras by choice....
HaveBlue83 02-17-2006, 02:49 PM Kmart Store Manager:
"Would you like a Roush, SVT, Buddy Club, or RS body kit to go with your CF hatch, Sir?"
[rofl] [rofl] [rofl]
Hope you make out like a bandit.........AND they find the person who Fuc*d your fucus

add palming the steering wheel to that or driving with the knees Cassa. It scares the crap outta me when i see people palming the steering wheel, honestly you do not really have control of the car, my friend used to do that but after yelling at him numerous times ive gotten him to drive properly.
And no offnese but DomG your not going to be able to find the guy.
b/c on his way home miles away a big tree fell infront of his car and then a Monster truck coming from the adjecent direction couldnt stop in time so he just crushed the SUV, and then b/c the person still didnt die God get fed up and smited him with a lightning bolt and egnited the tree and the car and it exploded. teddyrob 02-17-2006, 05:02 PM an suv hits your parked car so now you want them all banned? hmm ok hang on a min....one sec....[duh] ..there..ok im finished.
cassa 02-17-2006, 05:30 PM drkknight....i assume by palming the steering wheel you mean that they are driving with an open palm? sorry to be so dim-witted.[8]
and teddy, i don't know if you have ever been to jersey but it is swimming with suv's. and about 1% of the people who have them know how to drive them properly. and beyond that they think they own the road and will drive down the middle of a two way street trying to make you move over. i have gotten braver over the years, and now when this happens to me i start to veer toward them and not away.
teddyrob 02-17-2006, 05:40 PM cass its 1% of people who know how to drive anything!....not just suvs....and yes ive been to jersey a few times but never really noticed so many of them that they block the sun or nothin...[;)] i find it annoying that everyone is walking around with a cell phone in their ear or feels they have to let the whole neighborhood 'feel' their music..and none of that is banned so its ridiculous to want to ban suvs.

no i meant when someone has to turn the steering wheel like while backing out or making a turn or something like that, instead of grabbing the wheel normally, they open there hand and push on it with there palm and turn it, think of it like this, when your wiping something of like a window and your palm is open and you make circular motions, yea its kinda like that, just with a steering wheel.

well believe me the suburban parts of jersey are ridiculously flooded with suvs.....i haven't seen the sun in over 3 1/2 years!!!![:p]
the whole cell phone thing is another matter. i have one and have only used it twice....and that was to call my home phone, while i was at home, to check and see if my cell was working!!
i don't think anyone really wants to ban suvs....i don't know how that would be possible anyway. but if they are going to drive tanks on the road, they should learn how to drive them.
and drkknight....i gottcha....i have seen people driving like that....really stupid!
Algorhythm 02-17-2006, 08:54 PM I turn with my palm.. and I drive pretty damn good, thank you.
MattZX3 02-17-2006, 09:29 PM ^^^agreed
{teddyrob}, i'm not sayin i want them to be banned. but it would be nice if they didn't allow anybody w/ a regular lilcense to get them. My drivin test was in some little cavalier on a road course that i drove 5 miles an hour. That doesnt really qualify me as a perfect candidate for a SUV, {actually not even a regular car}. There def has to be somethin changed, and actually i had this opinion b4 this even happened. This just PROVES my point.
