Finally got the pic off my phone, some may have read my post before, friday before last this damn tree just wouldn't show some common courtesy and move out of my way. Long story short, $7000 damage and a switch to a new insurer who won't rake me over the coals quite so bad.
What they say about driver inattentiveness is true: case and point...

that sucks, but if he punched the tree then he would have his health insurance deductible for a broken hand!

Ooh, only 7,000? thats what mine was and the airbags didnt go off. dont you hate those trees that wont show you any curtiosy.

As long as I get the car back without a botched repair job, I'll be happy as a clam, the money doesnt even bother me, but, I miss my damn SVT.

Dang, sorry to hear that. Again... at least you are okay. But think about this: At least it wasn't a telephone pole... cuz if you damaged one of them, you'd be paying for one of those too. First time I heard about that i was like they are [screwy] . But it has happened. Anyways, again sorry to hear about that, and hope your new insurance company will treat you better.

That's so sad... And so familiar...
My Focus got in a crash a tiny, tiny bit worse that that one (hood was bent up so I could see the valve cover, front bumper was torn off at the fenders, headlights were talking with the middle of my engine, etc) and my airbags didn't even go off. They didn't replace them, either...
Good luck with the new insurance, for sure...

sorry to see that and then hear about that sizeable dent you are about to take. Chin up, once you are behind the wheel again all will be right in the universe. Glad you are ok.
