So I got this thing in the mail from Hyundai if I take a test drive I'll get a $50 gift card from American Express. Not to sound cheap or anything but fifty bucks is fifty bucks. Not remotely interested in a Hyundai (think I'd drive a Tiburon just for fun) not even looking to buy a new car, but I wouldn't mind having the gift card. How bad would it look if I went and did a test drive and then left after they filled out the card? If they are going to offer me free cash, why not? Anybody else ever had this situation? Just curious on opinions.

Pretty common for manufacturers to entice ppl in like that. Go for it, most sales consultants realize the majority of ppl are just coming in for the gift/loot and are understanding. $50 is $50.

Apparently they sent me a $50 enticement, but I musta thought it was spam and tossed it, becuase I got a postcard from the local dealer on Friday saying to come in and redeem my test-drive offer! So if they're gonna ask me twice...[}:)]

Cool. I feel so dirty crossing over to the dark side and driving a Hyundai... eh I'm over it.
