in the 2005 focus zx4 is anyone else annoyed by the center consoles cupholders ability to rub against your calf and leg as you drive and iritate the sheet out of you [?|]
and also what if anything can/did you do about it,

I would like to meet the idiot designer who figured, hey lets put the cupholder right next to the drivers lower leg so it can be the most annoying aspect of the vehicle. stupid, stupid, stupid! I would rather have no cupholder

My only problem with the front cup holder is that you can never fit a large Dunkin Dounut ice coffee in them so I have to settle for the medium.

it only bothers me when a cup is in it.

I assume its the same in the zx3.

im not some skinny guy nor oversize fat @$$! but those cupholders dont bother my feet, calves, thighs, legs? how do you most ppl drive? i have my seat laid back chillin' lol....no probs w/ my foci....

I like the cup holders in that spot if you put something in there go to shift then your hand is already there.

I only have issues when i put coffee there, so i just stick in the the passenger side. other then that, i have no problems!

I hacksawed my cupholder off :D Now it's not in the way at all!

I dont have an 05 but i always use the pass side cup holder in mine.

I used the passenger cup holder all the time until I had a friend in the car with a big cup in his cup holder. When I dropped him off, the cup holder insert came out with the cup and he lost it. Now I can't use my passenger cup holder. Some cups get in my way when I have them in the cup holder.

No troubles with my cup holders....

There was a thread a while back about that. I think someone found some on Ebay, or went to Ford and ordered one for @$15. My friends are stupid, and don't use cups with tops on them. I think they are forcing me to drive very slow and carefully.

I'm 6'3" and it only bothers me when I have a beer in there, errr, I mean a SODA. Lol, jk of course, but I don't think it's too much of an issue.

It bugs me a little, plus the cupholder itself is too small.

it doesnt bother me with rubbing on my leg. What I dont like is that I can fit a full size drink in it, without hitting it on the radio surround when i pull it up to drink out of it. I usually use the pass. side holder.
