I'm going to try to adapt a cone filter (K&N or other) on my SVT. Does anyone know what size cone filter will fit? Part numbers?

Thanks in advance.

i used K&N Filter #9032. fits perfectly. just remove the MAF housing from the airbox, and put the air cleaner on the MAF. very simple short ram intake![thumb]

buy some pipe and make an sri. if you are going to do it do it right. you really only need a 3" 90 degree elbow of some sort.

Here is my SRI. cost around 80 bucks.

If you want "turbo" ghetto, purolator makes a cylindrical paper filter for under $10. You can get a 3" coupling from HD for ~$8. Panty hose from your old lady, your favorite adult entertainer, or (gulp) a family member or personal stash works great to cover your breather tube (on the car)[confused] . Attach them w/ a zip-tie.
Enjoy the extra bottom end power and spend the $$ you saved on gas.

well when you go to order it, from autozone or wherever, you should just be able to tell them your model and they can get you the right filter. that's what i've always done.

This is my ghetto setup, The filter is a stock Mustang GT filter base and filter with an aluminum adapter plate. Very free flowing and no messing with oiled filters.

It will soon be converted to a CAI setup.
