I got paid at work last night, I'm going to Modern Performance this am and picking up the Focus-Central ORP for my car. I will be instaling it before work tonight which is at 6pm. Should be enough time....right? Any Tips, suggestions, hints welcome.

PB Blaster. And a large breaker bar. Also might wanna put some anti sieze on the bolts before you reinstall.

I'm surprised no one has reminded you that you need to make sure you don't need an O2 cheater. You're more than likely going to throw up a CEL otherwise.

Thanks, already knew about PB blaster and MIL elims. I'm not a complete noob. I've done OR H and X installs on about 10 stangs so far, it's just this is my first Focus install. Wanted to see if there's anything else besides PB blaster, tight bolts, extensions, swivels, etc. I know all the basics, just wanted to know if it's completely diff from stangs...I guess. Thanks-David

Easy install, once you get the bolts off :)

I am PISSED[:(!] The guys at Modern performance showed 1 SVT ORP from Focus Central left in their system for 129.99 and they actually had 0 in their warehouse!!!! No other shop sells them in Houston! So instead of going and purchasing my pipe and it being on right now, I had to place an order with CFM, get bent over backwards and take it up the butt with their 199.99 price along with $12 to ship it. Why does this pipe cost so much? Every H pipe I stuck on my stangs cost about $120 and those suckers are 2 pieces and a lot much more material. So now not only did I have to pay more, I have to wait. And this stupid cat heat shield rattle is about on my last nerve!

Is this a bad time to tell you that Marcy Motorsport has them for $145?

I don't think you'll need MIL eliminators if you've got a Predator. You can turn off the secondary O2 sensor and just have it bypassed.

Yes, horrible timing, and I don't have a predator. This thing was bone stock about 3 weeks ago when I bought it. I've only put about 1100 miles on it and 4 mods so far.

Marcy Motorsport price is actually $175 with a mil. There is alot more shops and alot more companies making mustang stuff. With a higher demand , higher supply, and more competitiors to sell parts for mustang stuff, the prices will be a good amount lower. Parts for a corvette or bmw is expensive compared to the mustang. A good set of long tube headers cost about $1k for the corvette while the mustang is only about $340.
I used a good about of wd40 when installing my off road pipe. I still ended up braking one of the bolts since I did not take my time at it.
