You guys are funny.

Its not stock man, you have what looks to be a 14"-16" glasspack in place of the stock resonator.

And you have a 12" glasspack in place of the lunchbox muffler.

Its not stock, how does it sound....I have a 12" glasspack in place of my stock resonator, with just 2.25" piping to a tip. Mine is loud, but deep especially after Wayne's tune.

Thinking about adding another glasspack to tone it down a bit....like yours.

cool ya i like the sound its like not too loud( i hate the ones that sound like someone is taking a dremmel to a tin can) but it does have deep tone...im still curious about the intake so ill take a pic and post it up tonight ......thanks for giving me the answer EASYRIDER

No problem, I may go install a second one to tone mine down Sat. morning (It got really loud at cold start with my mods)

........they are straight-thru mufflers so it shouldn't affect performance at all.........and should only cost about 40.00 to get welded on.

is it a performance exhaust?

your intake looks like an ebay special. As for your exhaust, you dont need a header. a catback kit will bolt right in with your factory manifold and catalitic converter. But that is definitly not a stock resinator. I agree with easyrider in saying that it looks like a glasspack

It looks like you have 2.25" from the first glasspack on back. Which is not as "performance" as having 2.25" or 2.5" from the second cat on back.......its a lot better than stock seeing as they are straight thru and increases your exhaust velocity and eliminates backpressure.......(which has many theories on that in itself)

So, the proper term to use, is "I have a custom exhaust setup". Buts its similar to the more expensive exhausts that uses the same components i.e. mbrp, trubenz and some sponsered companies linked above.

If you live in a spot where it snows, you might need to switch to stainless steel soon. Wait you live in Cali......no snow. and you can't get an exaust that isn't carb legal.

Leave it the way it is, but please post a vid of how low it sounds with 2 glasspacks please.[thumb]

I's just a "muffler shop special" exhaust, really. Looks like something welded into the stock pipes; you would get better gains from a mandrel bent catback system, but it will be negligible if you're keeping the stock header/cat and flex. If it souds good, and you're not doing anything else to the exhaust, don't waste more money on a full catback system.
