I'm getting very close to 36k miles on my SVTF and I was planning on taking it in and wondered which service departments (within a reasonable distance) people have had good experience with or which ones I should stay away from. I really would like to have the clutch TSB done, but I don't really have the symptoms. I heard the 'marbles in a can' once, but not in a long time. And even though the clutch isn't what it once was, I doubt they would say there was 'premature wear'. Has anyone else had this done where they did the TSB without questions? I also have the heat shield rattle plus some interior squeeks and creeks that I want them to fix. So if anyone could reccommend an SVT dealer in East central AL or maybe even West GA, please let me know. Right now I would either take it to Adamson or Jim Skinner in Bham, but if anyone has had bad experience with either of those or great experience with another dealer, please tell me!

I don't know of any up that way, but if you have no symptoms related to the clutch TSB, they aren't going to warranty the clutch. I work at Treadwell Ford is the reason why I know that. As far as the squeaks and rattles, get it into any dealer to fix. Treadwell says they are "SVT Certified", but very few people there know ANYTHING about the SVT vehicles. On more then one occasion, I've heard mechanics say, "What's SVT mean?" Good luck with the warranty stuff.

Well, I actually did hear a faint rattling tonight when I was sitting in a drive-thru that went away when I pushed the clutch in. Not sure it will show up again when I get to the dealer, but hopefully telling them I've heard it more than once will convince them to fix it. Might do better if I have the TSB in hand though...

Make sure THEY hear it if you want to get the TSB done. It's best if the car is in a car port of some sort so you can hear that kind of stuff better (probably why you heard it in the drive thru).

Haha, you probably work on my car when I bring it in. I'm going to bring it in again this week(this makes 4 times) to fix the clutch rattle. Don keeps giving me all sorts of excuses as to why it hasn't been fixed and this time I'm not going to take no for an answer. I'm not sure why though, it's not like he hasn't heard it, and correct me if I'm wrong but Ford pays Treadwell for warranty work. You'd think they'd be happy for fix it.
Glad to see you're on here though.

town and country should treat you right, show them what you got, and explain what you want, they arent SVT certified, i dont think, but they have taken care of me pretty good.
