So ya im a complete noob to cars pretty much. i went from a 1989 chevy cavalier (p.o.s) to a 2001 ford focus with exhaust intake and loprofile racing rims . inoticed that it like hugs the road ALOT and you can feel every bump on the road. is it normal for the car to jerk around a little/ alot on a shitty road with hella bumps and uneaven pavement???? kinda only when im going 35+....secondly i actually spun out today because i wa going about 50 on a 45 road and i swerved to miss a plank in the road. any ways i spun out b/c i over corrected like a [:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)] and slid back into a cubjus kissed it though(luckily) scared me shitless....anyways i was wondering if there is an easy way to practice not over steering in a situation like this...an when i hit the curb i split a pieceof rubber off of the tire, now i know its not safe to mob around with tires that have a chunk of rubber mising ....but this is the little 1: long piece thats missing its jus flush with the rest of the tire now its like a little ridge thing n the side of the tire ...do you think its still safe to drive???

if in doubt, dont drive on them..the last thing you want to do is blow out a tire when your driving on the highway or something. as for your little slip up... just be a more defensive driver, there is a lot you can do to prevent a spin-out, and the first thing that you have o remember, your driving a front wheel drive car, and if you over correct, and are stepping on tha gas, you could severly screw yourself. yes, its normal to feel a lot of bumps on a crappy road, not many cars today can absorb all of the inperfections in the road. just remember, get acclimated to driving your new car, it'll take some time to learn all of its driving charactarisitcs(spelling)

so, yea, like i said, with the tire, dont risk the saftey of yourself, other drivers, or your car. if you doubt the safety, get it checked, tires are not something to be thought of lightly. good luck with your new focus, hope you enoy it as much as i enjoy mine.

thanks guys....you knkow i feel like an idiot though because i took a closer look at the tiresand the frontones were backwards b/c its jus sum gay used car trick that i knew of but forgot too lok for i thought the tires were semi good but the inside is bad...im jus gonna get a new set so no worries anymore woo hoo
