I was just noticing tonight that there is no "shift up" light on the SVT dash like other stick cars I drive. I found that odd. is it there but just burned out?

ahh thats ok, the throttle cable running over the top of the engine gives so much vibration through the peddal I can almost name the RPM without sound or a glance at the tach :)

My shift light is when i bump the rev limiter lol [driving]

If it did have a shift light, that sucker would have been unplugged a long time ago!! Those things are annoying!! LOL

Yeah I hate those things, when I drive my sisters Zetec ZX5 I get mad at it. "I Decide when its time to shift!"

^^^thats what i was gonna say..............if you race frequently you can always buy an aftermarket shift light

I looked in the manual and saw that the non SVT cluster had a shift light, and the SVT cluster had the blank still for where that light was... that was the reason I asked ;)

Not that I really needed or want it.
