OK for the little Mrs. Christmas presents (since its her car )
I ordered up the K/N sri, ford racing sts, the rear Vf mount and the front end bra.
A few days after Xmas I installed the SRI, it was a piece of cake, no problems at all.
But at times if I/she happens to lug it when first taking off, we hear a slight rattle.
I believe its the heat shield for the filter? It never did it before until I installed the SRI/plus shield. But sounds great when you punch it [thumb]
I had went through the "How To" thread and read up on WD40's sticky about installing the STS, it was a very well written, informative post with excellent pictures. another

Also read the one on replacing the stock rear motor/trans mount with the new VF mount.
Well written with pictures too.
Ok now to get on with the installations
After one more quick read of WD40's "How To" on the STS.
I headed out to the garage this morning to do the STS.
It was just as WD40 said it would be , a straight forward install..
No problems what so ever, everything went smooth. The tq bit screws came right out.
Did the parts clean up swap over to new shifter.
Installed the plate/spacer tighten the new bolts down, hooked up both cables, then shifted through the gears.
Total install time including going down to the local Sears and buying a Metric allen head set (remember for the new bolts to put in) was 50 minutes..
Next came the VF mount. Now looking at the "How To" write up, you would think it would be a walk in the park install.
Well for some reason things didn't go as plan on that one [}:)]
Jacked up the car ok, got the jack stands set in place, then got the jack'2X4 set up under the trans.
Loosened up the bolts, removed them along with the stock mount, had to spray the VF mount with a tad bit of WD40, it slid right in after that.
For the life of me I couldn't get the trans hole lined up with the mount/bracket/bolt [?|]
After a few choice words, and messing with the jack and prying with a 2X2 I finally got it lined up. Tightened up all the bolts, tq them to 35lb. Total time 45 minutes [:(!]
Started it up and felt a little vibration, no big deal..
Went for a test drive and "WHAT A DIFFERENCE" [thumb]
The shifting is so much tighter, crisp..
Wife had to work today, so when she got home, I had her take the car out for spin . She came back with a big grin and said "I LIKE IT" !! lol
So a big Thanks to WD40 for a couple of great write up How To's
And Thankyou to everybody else that recommended these mods.
Now if I can find a better price on the RC ? high flow cat ($359) I believe that will be the next mod
