Yes, Yes, and good brands are Focus Central, Ford Racing, B&M, and Steeda. I have the Steeda myself. It is shorter but not so short that it's uncomfortable, and it has revised shift points to make the shifting even shorter.

Where were you able to find a site that sells a short shifter for the SPI. Cause I ordered a Ford Racing one, only to find out that it is incompatible with my 2000 Focus LX. All ads says works with both SPI's and Zetecs ..... wrong! wrong! wrong!
