I've been overseas for a while, but am coming back early December this year.

My needs are simple. I want to know the quickest way to get my mits on a new Focus ST, whatever is the top end model.

Can anyone direct me, tell me how long I will have to wait, and how much it will cost.

Also, at a push, I wondered if anyone could give me a ball park on yearly comprehensive insurance on this car, for a 32 year old male with no no-claims bonus.

if you want an '06 focus ST, go to your local dealership or go to ford.com and locate one. you can even be picky about options and color if you want!

as far as insurance, it's very hard to quote how much it will be without knowing a lot of information about you. also, quotes from different companies vary.

id say full coverage your lookin at about 165 a month and to get the top of the line st (new ones are coming with a body kit) would be about 18,500

naw, I priced on at a dealership, now that the Keep It Simple or whatever is out... fully loaded with everything, including leather, heated seats, appearance package is around 17k... :)

I would be interested to know if the Focus ST is still considered a 4-door family sedan. The SVT ZX3 insurance is alot higher than a normal ZX3.

When I bought my ST, I was also looking at a ZX3 SES. The insurance for the ST was just a bit lower, nothing drastic. It wasn't a deciding factor in making my decision.

FOr all options I got a quote of $20,010.

yes, but that is MSRP.. now you can get a car well below that... but of course it depends when Mr. bobb comes back states side...

but yeah... 17k seems like a nice loaded vehicle...
