Question:

Im putting together a turbo kit based on Toms DIY for a high boost application.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience for the wastegate other than the Turbonetics that comes with Tom's kit.

Some of the choices are:

Tial 38mm or 44mm
Turbonetics: Deltagate II (Toms Full Kits utilize this)

From my understanding those are pretty much the top 2 brands, however are the obligatory

HKS,GREDDY,BLITZ OR APEXI

Worth the time/trouble?

Tom, I would really like your opinion here since you have the most experience with SVT tuning (to my knowledge)

Please post your review of your wastegate with the following information:

Brand:
Size:
Amount of Boost your running:
Length you have had it on your car (miles etc.):
Pros/Cons:
Likes/Dislikes:

Thanks

I have the Deltagate, although I've heard rumors of the diaphram seizing over time. I also researched the Tial and came up with nothing but thumbs-up. As for the others, I've never taken the time to look into them.

I like either the delta gate or the new EVO

I was looking at the Tial, but everywhere I look, they sell it without the flanges welded on. Where did you get yours from?

You mean the flanges on the wastegate itself like this......

Or the flange you weld to the manifold........

With a 9psi spring can you set the boost lower then 9psi using your boost controler?

I meant the flanges on the wastegate. That's what the websites said. That one you posted is the first one I've seen sold with them already one. Sounds weird, I know.
