It would be way too expensive!!! Because of it's length, you would pay more for shipping than the cost of the bar!

Just a question a noob would ask, what exactly does a front stress bar do? How many would you need and were are they installed?
Easy to install?

Stress bar gos on top of strut tower bars. You mount it in your engine bay.

In theory it stiffens the body because it reduces body flexing, but providing another piece to bridge the gaping space of engine bay.

In Focus the benefit of the Stress bar is not as significant as in other cars, because our body is already very stiff (especially up front), but people still claim imprved handling.

Overall, for 40 bucks it is a no breainer - makes the car stiffer a little bit, dresses up the engine bay...

oh and it installs in 20 minutes.. the easiest instal out there.

where would it install into, the side of the body where the engine is? would this be custom or is there allready slots for it to drill into?

check this out.. its the chrome bar right above the battery..it goes from the top of the strut tower to the other.. very easy install.

Igor i would say black too keep with the "Dark theme" of your car seeing as hows its darkish. but if you want it to stand out i would say red that would look pretty sweet. itd be like BAM wow look at that stress bar!! hahaha so how much do stress bars for focuses go for? is that 39+shipping a good deal?

just ordered mine in high polished silver. will look good on liquid grey.

it's a smoking deal.. the only other one on the market is $90.. this one is so cheap, because the manufacturer (Focus Central) went out of business (but since Stress bar has no maintenance, you do not need to worry about them being around )

it's the FC stress bar.. the FS one costs $90.. this one was originally $50 I believe.

I have both red and black in stock. Red, I believe would be a good color to contrast with the gray of the body and all the black that is under the hood.

I got a white focus, and a red stress bar with the black engine will look awsome.

Well Hold on...

Ive hit a bit of a wall... I have a 05 white focus. The engine is all black, so I cannot pick if I want a black stress bar to stay with the black engine, or red, or chrome!!! Later I might get some engine parts painted red, but who knows.

What does everyone think?

Red.

Red if you are going to use other red accents under the hood. Use high polish silver if you are going to use another color to accent the engine compartment.

I have all in stock at the moment.

hey tony, i was supposed to get mine today and UPS neglected to deliver it because they were trying to get a ste#. so now i have to wait until tues to get mine. go figure i gave my work address to be able to get this and UPS comes there everyday, and they did not deliver it. not to mention that the UPS facility is only 2 buildings away from my job. they are @ 335 e arby, and i work @ 375 e arby. so can you please do something about the shipping.

Hey hetrain get the silver for the black engine bay. installed mine, popped the hood and thats the first thing that catches ur eye. Red if your going with red accents, Silver if your not.

I got my stress bar in today.. I can DEFINATELY feel a difference in hard turns.. my body doesn't seem to move as much as it did stock..

Although the bar didn't fit perfectly.. I have it on 3 of the 4 screws, really tight.. I have to wait to jack the car up this weekend to get that last one to fit.

I was lucky, on flat ground or whatever, but it went right on, all botls, very easy. COngrats on the new mod!
