If I'm going turbo I know I should put in stronger pistons, rods, and cams but is it necessary to put in a performance head too. I don't want extra NA power I just want my car to handle 9 psi for a long period of time.

Well I would say a P&P head would be nice just do not get the compersion (sp? it is early in the morning lol) rasied. Also I see you have a 2.3 does anyone make a perfromance head for those yet?

Yes cosworth does make a head and basically a whole complete engine rebuild kit.
