I don't know if this should go here but here it goes. My 03 SVTF is a great car it's fun to drive and gets good mpg. Ever since I have had it a bunch of small stuff keeps messing up. It's only really had a few big issues happen. Hopefully it'll all be fixed before warrenty is up. Here's my choices, either keep the car and put a blower on it, or trade it in on either a mach1, cobra, or srt-4. Even maybe a good GT if I find one, not a new one but last years model. I don't know what I should do. I love my car but I have a bad feeling that these small probs. will continue to plague this car. I don't know how to do the poll thing or I would do that but what's ya'lls opinions. Thanks everyone!

Cobra or the Mach 1. 03-04 Cobra definitely. Then the Mach 1.

Cobra's also have some little stuff that goes wrong with them my suggestion would be a mach 1 or if u can find a nice gt. the gt is what im going to be looking at over the next summer. Im at the same point where you are. Ive upgraded most of the things that might break or have broken on the car but that still doesn't leave me very satisfied.

SRT-4.....................................................and i agree fully with svt4life i also have upgraded most everything except for F/I and still the car just doesnt make want to drive it..................yes its great in the twisties but there arent a whole lot of "twisties" around here for me to have fun with

i would skip on the srt4, sure its a got a nice engine, but the the rest of the car (ride quality, handling, brakes, interior) are far less quality than what you have in the SVTF. Not a good trade off in my opinion.

The cobra is a fun car, but there again, I find it kinda uncomfortable to drive comparitively. It would be a great weekend car, but not a daily driver for me (80miles a day)

Havent had a chance to drive the Mach 1 for more than just around our shop yet, so I can't comment on that choice, although I do like the looks of the car. If it rides better than the Cobra (and I think it would), it would be my first choice of your three cars listed.

Personally, my next car will be either an STI, 350z, G35 or an RX8

I like Ford, but I've had 3 Fords in a row now, time to sample some other stuff again.

Also i'd advise maybe attempting to sell ur focus to a private buyer rather than trading it in.. u will get absolutely squat from some dealerships.

I'm just going to get the warrenty stuff fixed and keep it. I can't beat the gas mileage vs the V-8s even though it seems gas is going down. And the safety and reliability seems to be better with the focus also. I'm gonna blow it and call it good.

majik im in da same situation as u....ive had the car for like a few months...and ive had the clutch fail on me, the shift linkage braking, the radiator leaking, and some strange sounds coming from it...so yea...i got most of it fixed by the warranty but it just gets me mad that a newer car like this would have this many problems...then again i dont think theres any other car on the market around the same price that is as good as an svtf....so i guess ill keep it and supercharge or turbo charge that bitch...nothin better than being able to beat v8s in ur little 4cylinder hahaha cant wait to put some f/i in this bitch
