Tom or anyone else that has...
I just got my Predator back from Tom. I sent it to him because I was having difficulty downloading the enhanced tune he had emailed me. So now that I have it, I'm just wondering if the steps I take to download it to my car is the same as when I initially installed the tune. Thanks.
Pull fuses 46 & 61
Plug Predator in
"Custom Tunes" will show up

Hi Tom,
I installed it Friday night...I had the opportunity to drive it early Saturday morning when the temperature was 32 degrees. I really like it...and the problem with the higher idle is gone. Overall performance is as good as the last tune if not better. Idle and shifting seems much smoother and improved. It seem that even the overall engine noise is much better...Now I'll have to see how it effects gas mileage...Thanks again.

Mileage will go down... you'll be having fun with the increased driveability of the SVT! Over time the mileage will go up, but expect it to go down for a few tanks!

are the steps the same to install tune, remove 46/61 and do what the predator manual says to do inorder to install toms tune

ok process finish
----have 9r01 version
----installed tune on 04 svt from tom.
----didnot remove any fuses
----process took 30 mins
----when svaing first time pred only went to 20% then tried process again. second try saved 100% data.
----on dash eng, trac, oil, bat, brake lites were on. no odo reading just dashes.
-----pred prompted me to do everything. didnt need manual althou read anyway to make sure no mistakes made.
-----pred said custom tune installed.
-----started car and that was it.
hopefully this will help anyone else who is just recieving tune on what to do. wiil post what i felt about tune later. didnt drive car yet

ok cant really tell if more power but engine does sound a little deeper around 3k rpm and up. never really push my car or drive hard constantly so pushing it now wont know any difference.
----when start car it revs higher for 2 to 5 sec and rpm comes down. didnot do that before.
----car shuts off now. never did before. i will pm tom about that
----does seem to shift nicer, no huge bog from gear to gear
need more time behind wheel.
